Basic Eligibility Requirements to Petition

Eligibility for a K-1 Fiancé Visa is determined on a case-by-case basis. The general requirements for this application are:

Be a U.S. Citizen (lawful permanent residents are not eligible to petition for a fiancé visa).
Have met your fiancé in person at least once in the last two years (unless eligible for a waiver). You will need to provide proof of this.
Provide evidence of a bona fide relationship.
The non-U.S. Citizen Fiancé must be currently living outside the U.S.
