Employment authorization is determined on a case-by-case basis. The general requirements for this application are:

• Be in an eligible immigration category, such as: pending green card (I-485) application, asylum or refugee status, DACA, certain student visa categories (including STEM-OPT applicants), dependent of certain visa holders.
• Provide proof of your current immigration status and category eligibility.
• Be physically present in the United States when filing your application.
